Music
Have you ever wondered why we remember the words to a song, perhaps even years later? There are good reasons. The tunes, the rhymes, the repetition make it memorable, especially if we hear it over and over again. Our brain retains the words we learn in a song much more than if we just read them out loud. The language area of our brain is activated with music. So why not take advantage of this easy way of learning words and language with our small babies! Plus, isn't music just so beautiful to have around?
